ESP8266 monitoring for IV fluid, tonic-clonic seizures, and pulse irregularities with caretaker alerts.

Built on ESP8266 NodeMCU with a load cell, 3D accelerometer, and pulse sensor, the system watches IV fluid levels, tonic-clonic seizure motion, and pulse irregularities at once.

Sensor data is logged to the cloud, with VoIP calls proposed to notify a caretaker when thresholds are crossed. The system brings several monitoring signals into one embedded workflow.

Each sensor addresses a different observation: fluid quantity, body movement, or pulse. Connecting these to a notification path demonstrates an IoT prototype; establishing seizure-detection sensitivity, false-alarm rates, and clinical usefulness requires a separate medical evaluation.

Inside the system / interactive concept

Three measurements, one monitoring path.

01 / 03

A load cell monitors IV fluid, an accelerometer captures movement, and a pulse sensor supplies another physiological signal.

Research prototype overview, not a clinically validated seizure diagnostic or emergency service.
