HapnX · 2026 — ongoing · Product · Local discovery

Less scrolling. More showing up.

A local discovery and ticketing product built around a simple question: what is happening around me, and how do I become part of it?

Inside the system / interactive concept

Turn nearby into a plan.

01 / 03

Start with local events and experiences. HapnX focuses on helping people find what is happening in their city.

Illustrative product journey, not a live event feed or product screenshot.

The product at a glance

Starting point
Sydney

A city full of experiences, with a discovery problem to solve.

The first step
Discover

Find local events and experiences happening around you.

The next step
Attend

Connect discovery with ticketing and a plan to go.

An ongoing product. The illustration describes the intended discovery journey; it is not a screenshot or a claim about usage or growth.

The city is already interesting

The problem HapnX tackles is the gap between something happening nearby and actually hearing about it in time. Social FOMO is a useful starting point: discovery only helps when it gives someone a realistic next step.

From an event to a plan

The product brings local discovery and ticketing together. The experience needs to answer a few practical questions quickly: what is it, where is it, when does it happen, and how can I attend? That is the journey illustrated above.

A different kind of system

Alongside imaging and robotics research, HapnX is my work on a product people can choose to use in everyday life. I co-founded it in February 2026 in Sydney. The common thread is observation: finding a useful signal in a busy environment and helping someone act on it.
